The support of the parents, the cooperation of the students, the affection both of the parents and the students towards the Institution was a boost for the Sisters to enhance the educational Endeavour in Bhatkal. Every Parent -Teacher Meeting of High School ended with a request for starting the Pre University College to which the Management had no option but to yield. Sr. Lilly Pinto, the Deputy Secretary of Mangalore Province and Sr. Filix D’Souza, the Correspondent of Anand Ashram Institutions succeeded in getting the permission from the Karnataka Government for a Pre University College in Bhatkal with an Order No. ED 273 SHH 2013 Bangalore dated: 16.05.2013. The Pre University College started functioning from June 1, 2013 with a total number of 32 students enrolled for Commerce and Science. The College which is Composite in nature is given to the care of Sr. Therese Shera , the High School headmistress who had the experience of nurturing the newly-born Pre-University College at Belthangady.
The formal inauguration of the College was held on June 10, 2013 in the presence of Rev Sr. Lenita D’Souza, the Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province, Sr. Lily Fernandes, Secretary of UFES who presided over the inaugural function and Sr. Lilly Pinto, Deputy Secretary as the Chief Guest, who inaugurated it. A number of parents as well as the staff and students of Anand Ashram institutions witnessed this historical event with great joy.

Theme of the day was ‘Pilgrims of Hope’. There was cultural programme by the Blooms. Quiz and games were conducted for them.

Through this visit the students gained the practical knowledge of workplace, how industries are maintained, the work nature, work discipline that need to be maintained by employees.
7.9.2024 Students conducted inter class Spell bee competition. Students of all sections participated with great enthusiasm. This competition helped students to improve their spellings, increase their vocabulary, learn concepts, and develop the use of correct English. Students were congratulated and appreciated by the Headmistress and Teachers for their leadership and initiative.

20.08.2024 Students were given a session on Kanunina Arivu ( awareness of Law) by Mrs Deepa Naik, Bhatkal Police.
1.8.2024 The election for the SPL and ASPL was conducted. Tenth standard students were given the chance to stand for the election of SPL. IX Std students contested for the post of ASPL. All the candidates were given a chance to campaign through a public speech. Each candidate was given a symbol. All the students from High School participated in voting. The counter was set up for the verification of the identity cards after which one finger of left hand was marked with the ink. Then the election was done with electronic mode.

12.07.2024 Vanamahotsava celebrated in the school with great enthusiasm by planting a sapling. The students presented a skit highlighting the importance of nature conservation, encouraging everyone to keep the surrounding clean and protect mother earth.

29.06.2024 The inauguration of Eight clubs Eco Club, Science Club, Health Club, Children’s Right Club, Sports Club, Interact Club, Maths Club, Literary Club was started with invocation to the Almighty God. It was followed by lighting the lamp and welcome. The Club President along with the Secretary displayed the posters with the objective of their clubs. After the formal inauguration there was a wonderful cultural programme presented by each club in the form of dance, song and skit.
26.06.2024 An awareness program was organized by Bhatkal police department on the occasion of international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking in our school. The resource persons were Mr. Naveen Naik and Mrs. Deepa Nayak. This event aimed to educate students on the effects of drug abuse and thus promote a drug-free world.
25.06.2024 Investiture ceremony for the academic year 2024-25 was held at college auditorium. The ceremony began with a prayer. Then Sr Vinutha D’Souza, Principal led the oath taking ceremony wherein the student leaders pledged to uphold the values and principles of the college. She congratulated the student council for taking up the various responsibilities and wished them all the best for the new academic year.
21.06.2024 International Yoga day was celebrated in the school with great enthusiasm. Students performed various Yoga Asanas and the importance of these were explained to them.
18.06.2024 PTA Executive Committee meeting commenced with a prayer. Sr Vinutha D’Souza, Principal welcomed all the members. She kept before the members the activities carried on during the past year and the future plans for the Institute. Mr. Gangadhar Naik was unanimously chosen as the Vice President of PTA for the year 2024-25.
14.06.2024 UFB inauguration for High School and Primary Students for the year 2024-25 was done in college Auditorium. Prayer service was conducted with the theme Pilgrims of Hope.
12.06.2024 Career guidance session was given to the I & II PUC science students along with their parents by Mr Mayur and Mr Sagar, MyPal Coaching Centre, Bangalore.
07.06.2024 A vibrant Freshers’ Day program was hosted by the II PUC students to welcome the new batch of first year PUC students. The program commenced with a prayer followed by captivating performance by the second year students through cultural program and conducting games for the first years. Sr Vinutha D’Souza, Principal motivated the students to be more enthusiastic and grab every opportunity that come on their journey as they move forward in their life.
06.06.2024 Sr Lilly Pushpa took the orientation for the High School students and she met the parents of High School students and spoke to them on the adolescent empowerment program.
05.06.2024 World Environment day was celebrated to increase the awareness among the students about the importance of the environment and the need to protect it. Two students spoke on this theme and created awareness in the students. The skit displayed by the group of students stressed on the need to protect and preserve the nature. SSLC Topper (2022-23) Vijeth Gowda, II PUC Science – Gayathri Moger, II PUC Commerce- Crystel D’Souza and all the students who secured 90% and above in SSLC exam, and 85% and above in II PUC were honoured. Mr Patric Tellis present the report of School activities for the year 2022-23 through PPT presentation. Fr Julius shared his views on “the parents’ role in the academic growth of Children” in English; Fr James translated it in Kannada. The policies of the school were explained to the parents by the Principal. Mr Gangadhar expressed his words of appreciated and Sr Lucy D’Souza delivered her presidential speech.

The Headmistress in her speech highlighted the significance of the voter’s day and the history of this day. 07.01.2023: Golden jubilee inaugural celebration of Anand Ashram Primary school was celebrated in the Campus. It was a joyful day to thank God for all the blessings received through our Institution. 16.11.2022 :Taluk level cultural activities 2022-23 conducted in our PU Block. 10 colleges participated. Mr Ramrath, President of Bhatkal Taluk Principals Association inaugurated the programme. Sr Vinutha D’Souza, Principal presided over the function. After the inaugural function various competitions were conducted. Winners were awarded with certificates.

The students performed scintillating cultural programme to show their love, respect, acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development. The cultural programme incorporated dance, skit, speech and song. They entertained teachers by conducting fun games for them. Teachers enjoyed and appreciated the program conducted by the students. At the end the teachers from all the Institutions in the campus had few competitions and the meal arranged by the Primary school. In the afternoon there was Throw ball and Vollyball competition for staff members. Winners were given the prizes.

25.6.2022 Day observed as the International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking. It is observed to create awareness among the students about drug abuse. Mrs Suma and Mrs Veena PSI Bhatkal Police Department spoke on the bad effects of drug abuse. At the end of the session students took the pledge saying No to Drug.

18.6.2022 The inauguration of various clubs of the school was done. The club in-charges along with the club Secretary displayed the posters on various clubs. The various clubs inaugurated were- Sports Club, Science Club, Mathematics Club, Health Club, Eco Club, Interact Club, and Children’s right Club. After the formal inauguration, there was a wonderful cultural programme presented by all the clubs in the form of dance, melodious singing, skit etc.

4.6.2022 Environment day celebrated. After the prayer song, various activities like dance, song and speeches by the students highlighting the importance of environment were done. Mr Kuppayya Gond, Forest officer delivered an inspiring speech to the students.

The significance of the day was given by the students through a speech highlighting the Preamble, the major principles of our Constitution and need to preserve the National integrity of our country. Mr Shashidhar Naik – CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force), the Chief Guest, Mr Nagaraj Shet PTA Vice President, Heads of the Institutions and Staff members were present for the program. The Chief Guest unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom. The Staff members sang the Patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother Land. The Chief Guest delivered a speech on the importance of freedom in the country. Headmistress welcomed her with words, shawl, flowers and memento. Students performed few activities and exhibited their talents. Provincial Superior addressed the students and the students attentively listened to her and enlightened. After that she met the teachers and had high tea with them. It was a day of joy to spend the evening with our beloved Provincial Superior.
Christmas was celebrated in the school together with High School and PU Students. Program began with a prayer continued with singing carols, Jingle bell dance, Skit and message from the students and Headmistress. Students who won various competitions were given prizes. It was a joyful day for all.
NOVEMBER 2019
14.11.2019 Children’s day celebrated in the School. Program began with a prayer service and lighting the lamp. The portrait of Jawaharlal Nehru was garlanded. Teachers performed dance, skit and greeted the children with a greeting song. Students also performed a dance. It was a day of joy. Children were sweetened by giving ice cream to them.

09.10.2019: Students from I & II PUC total 82 students went to Mysore, Bangalore Wonderla in the morning along with their teachers. On the way they visited Mangalore, Sullia, Madikeri Maharaj Seat, Golden Temple and Chamundi Hills. It was a wonderful day for all of them.
31.10.2019: Students celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Valabhabai Patel. There was a speech by one student about Sardar Valabhabai Patel’s great contribution to our country. After that the students took the Oath to work together to keep the unity of the nation. Principal gave them a message to understand the meaning of Rashtriya Ekta.

05.09.2019: Teachers’ day and traditional day was celebrated in the College. Students came with the traditional dress. They welcomed the teachers with Arathi. The programme began with a prayer song sung by the students followed by lighting the lamp and offering flowers to the portrait of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Then the students spoke on the importance of teacher. The students performed various activities, conducted games to the teachers and felicitated them and offered gifts. At the end Principal addressed the students and congratulated them for their wonderful performance. It was a day of joy and showing love and respect towards the teachers by the students.
20.09.2019: IT quiz competition for PUC and High School students conducted at Karwar. The students won many prizes.
23.09.2019: District level sports competition conducted for PU students at Shirali. Our students participated and won prizes.

20.08.2019 Sadhbavana day was celebrated. The programme began by introducing the importance of the day to the students by Sr Theresia Shera, Principal. All the students came together and with one voice pledged to uphold peace and national integration in our country.
24.08.2018 Our Students generously contributed food items, cloths, toilet articles to help the people who are affected by floods. These articles were given to the people through Prathibodhaya Social Centre, Honnavar.
JULY 2019
Mr Yogesh Shanbagh the International Memory trainer gave half an hour session to the PU students on how to increase their memory power and Mr Gangadhar spoke on the use social Media. It was an enlightening and enriching session.
