‘Education is not the filing of a pail, but the lighting of a fire’ with this thoughts of William
Butler Yeats we the staff welcomed the students on the first day of the academic year with the
lighted candles. Headmistress Sr. Veena Vijaya Castelino addressed the staff and students,
invited them to be the light to one another in leading towards the light of knowledge, wisdom,
honesty and sincerity.
